Real life inspired films always touch the right chord and when the story is about struggle of Bollywood's superstar Salman Khan it is surely going to reach to the masses. The latest buzz has it that a film is being made on Salman's famous blackbuck case.
indiatoday reports that Ranjeet Sharma has casted Mahesh Saini for
the film. During Salman's 72-hour stay in prison, he was identified as
'Quaidi No. 210' and shared a cell with Mahesh.
Now, Mahesh will be seen playing himself in the film which rolls in Filmistan Studio today. They will also shoot in Jodhpur Central Jail later this month.
On February 17, 2006, Salman Khan was sentenced to a year in prison for hunting two Chinkaras at Bhawad and a blackbuck at Ghoda Farm in Rajasthan. The sentence was stayed by a higher court following an appeal. On April 10, the actor was handed a fiveyear jail term. He was remanded to Jodhpur jail until April 13, before he was granted bail.
Ranjeet also said to the tabloid that he hasn't informed Salman about the film.
"It's not a biopic so I don't need his permission," the filmmaker
reasons. "Usmaan Khan who looks a lot like Salman will play him. I'll be
signing two newcomers to play Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. I love Salman. The film will not portray him in a bad light."
